My next tattoo

Not sure where I will put it (and I need to be sure!), but this is my next tattoo:

Sola fide

It is Latin and means "by faith alone." So many things in life are traversed by faith alone. We never really know what is on the other side of anything, do we? We take that next step in our journey, by faith alone.

Or, I may get:

This too shall pass.

I have always loved this proverb. It originated when the fable of a powerful king who asks assembled wise men to create a ring that will make him happy when he is sad, and vice versa. After deliberation the sages hand him a simple ring with the words "This too will pass" etched on it, which has the desired effect. A reminder that, whether you are in plenty or in want, it will pass. Truly a humbling phrase.
