Carmen's PSA for the day

This public service announcement is from the 1930s, but is still relevant today, at least for me. Being home from the hospital for two days now, I see that I didn't give pneumonia the proper respect. I didn't realize it, but just a few of the people who have died from "complications of pneumonia" are Les Paul, Bernie Mac, Bob Evans, Chet Atkins, Christian Brando, Bruce Paltrow...I think complications could mean that there is an underlying illness, like Mac's lung disease, Paltrow's cancer, etc. However, I think it can sometimes mean that you are not doing what your doctor tells you to do - REST.
So, that is what I am doing. Resting. And then, I'm resting some more. Because I want this to be behind me in two weeks, not trying to do and to go and to run here and yon because I think the world will fall apart if I don't. Sometimes you just need to lie down and let someone else do it. It's good for them, too!
