I am constantly amused by doctors naming infirmities that have been around for a long, long time. For example, when I am very tired and am past the time I needed to go to bed, my legs get twittery. Very irritatingly so, so much that the only thing that will relieve them is to move them around. Come to find out, I have restless leg syndrome. It's not my fault after all! Get a 'script for Requip or Mirapex.
When I have had a hard day, my mail is misdelivered again and everyone is getting all over my last nerve, I think I am just a little stressed out. However, I am very relieved to know that I am only suffering from Antisocial Personality Disorder. It's not my fault after all! Take an antidepressant.
When I miss a cup of coffee in the morning, I am rewarded by an excruciating headache. That should help me remember next time. But wait! I may suffer from migraines. Excellent! It's not my fault! Get a quick Topomax injection.
I think you get the idea. The overwhelming majority of diagnosed ADD and ADHD in the world is right here in our lil old United States. Ritalin to the rescue! How about an ass-whooping and "sit your tail down while you still can" from a loving parent?
There is a lot to be said for self control. Most of the talk these days would have to be that we don't have any. McDonald's makes us fat, not because our grubby little fingers are shove french fried potatoes into our mouths faster than greased lightning. Our kids are fat and on cholesterol medicine because we don't make them play outside and get exercise. They are instead inside day and night, playing video games and watching TV.
Nadya Suleman has a disease we need to name. I don't want to jump on the bandwagon of "I hate Nadya", because she is not the only one. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar also suffer from this malady. "Table for 12" is a new TLC show that showcases a couple with 10 children: 2 sets of twins (you should have stopped there) and a final set of sextuplets. Who gets fertility treatments when they already have four children? There is something wrong with these people. Very, very wrong. In Carmenland, these people would be spayed and neutered.
Want to throw your opinion in the bucket for the medical name?

It is called not enough money and let's let the government pay for the children we don't really know how to pay for! Can't come up with a one word term for that. Oh wait! It is called selfishness!
