There is so much going on in the news that it fairly makes one's head spin. the one story that I find gets my tail-feathers ruffled is the one where Huntsville police chased a women for 8 minutes (it was drug-related), ended up on Redstone Arsenal, she plowed into a man in his own vehicle and killed him. She has, of course, plead NOT GUILTY. We'll get to that later.
The thing that gets me ruffled is that "experts" are now questioning the actions of the police and their supervisors in the chase. I will reiterate that the entire chase lasted 8 minutes. I will also reiterate that her actions KILLED an innocent man. Most women can't blow dry their hair or apply make up in 8 minutes, so what on EARTH makes "experts" think that there was any time for deep, meditative thought on the chase? You know what these "experts" are? Armchair quarterbacks. And I have no use for them.
The police did NOT cause the man to be killed. The woman, high on meth, did it all on her own. Because she is a druggie with a lethal weapon: a Pontiac Bonneville. I'm all for civil rights, and it is society's civil right to have this woman prosecuted to the nth degree of the law for what she did. And the police should be praised for putting their safety aside day after day to make sure trash like Valorie Keil Cox is off the streets.
You people need to get a hobby, and I don't think criminal rights is the place.
