Letter from Jim today:

Senator,

I am so upset on so many levels with our current administration, but today I will only vent about the living conditions of our military men and women. The recent video and news articles describing conditions of the 82nd airborne barracks at Fort Bragg are astonishing to me. Why does our President act like he cares about the military and then won't even provide a descent place to live? The U.S Government spends billions in Iraq to rebuild that country (only to be blown up and destroyed later) and we can't provide a descent working bathroom to our military. That is criminal in my mind! Hillary and even Obama with his limited experience look really good compared to Bush. Our elected officials are more concerned with partisan politics than the well being of our country. Please put all those flowery words about "loving and supporting our troops" into action and give them descent healthcare and living conditions. It takes more than wearing a lapel flag pin and spouting the same old "support our troops" language to actually be patriotic. Why don't all you politicians start out with something easy like a bathroom that works?

Ooh! It just gives me chills all over! Way to go, baby!!!
