Trip to Cullman

Jim, the boys and I went to Cullman this weekend. We wanted to look for new frames for Jim's new vision prescription, go to the bread thrift store, Belk, Goodies, and meet Jim's parents for lunch. It was a very promising day.

The glasses frames were very limited at the store we went to. They were pricey, and none of them really had pizzazz. A little disappointing, but I told Jim that we needed to try LensCrafters or another big glasses warehouse type place.

Then we went to a mexican restaurant to meet Jim's parents for lunch. The food was delicious and we all ate enough to make us need a nap. Toward the end of the meal, a young family came into the restaurant and sat beside us, in the corner. It was a mom and dad, probably in their 20s, with a young son, preschool age, and an infant in a car seat. Here is the shirt the dad was wearing:

Can you even believe that? What in the world is wrong with people? I don't think the boys saw it, and may not have even known what it meant if they did notice it. It was extremely offensive, but I didn't say anything to him. Much to Jim's relief. haha
The rest of the day was fantastic. And if this is the worst thing that happened all weekend, I'd say we are pretty well off. I just hope they don't pass the dumbness on to their children. However, the infant had on camoflauge, so I'm not that hopeful.
