My fabulous friend DEANNE

My very fabulous friend called me today. There are lots of things that I need to tell you about Deanne.
We met at His Kids Preschool, where all three of mine and her only one (at that time) went. They went on different days, so we didn't really know one another. After the last-day party, we all went to McDonald's and let the kids play in the ball pit. Jack got POOP on his cast (arm) and Deanne took Chase and Strat to her house while I took Jack to the doctor for a new cast.
Deanne is a hairdresser and is the only person I have ever let color my hair. Thanks to her, I have had red hair (hated it) and blond hair (did NOT have more fun). Then she colored it and chunked blond highlights in it. That was the best hair of my entire life.
Deanne has had fake nails ever since I've know her.
Deanne taught me how to play my still-favorite card game: canasta. We were the most kick-ass canasta team ever. If I had not moved, we would be playing canasta on the pro circuit, wearing matching bowling shirts. Except then, they would be called canasta shirts. To return this favor, I introduced Deanne to stamping and scrapbooking. Something her husband still hates me for. haha Not really.
Deanne is just as vivacious and passionate and spontaneous as I am, and everyone around us was surprised at how thick we got, so fast. Anyone else would have gotten all over our nerves, but we were sisters of the heart, mind, and soul.
Deanne has driven a school bus in 4-inch heels, has punctured both eardrums at the same time, and loves pina coladas.
Deanne will always be my best friend, I love her, and I miss her every day.
Oh, and Deanne: I have a picture of you that I don't think you want anyone to see. If you don't send me some updated photos, I will replace the cute little bunnies up top with this photo.
