Jim and I were watching the Iowa Caucus and then the New Hampshire primary results. We started talking about the political pundits and the fact that two of them had to offer disclosure that there were members of their immediate family who worked in two of the campaigns. That is unacceptable! Are there not enough learned people out there who have an opinion without such close ties to the candidates? YES! There are.
Which brings me to my next issue. America: Stop being SHEEPLE. Stop waiting for someone to tell you what to think and who to vote for. Read some damn news and do a little research on your own. You may find that you have your own educated opinion. I could care less what Bill Kristol, Chris Wallace and Glen Beck think. Not that they are bad people, but they are people. They have their own opinions and agendas.
Fred Barnes stated on national television that Hillary Clinton "needs a personality transplant". You have got to be kidding me! Is this what Fox News pays him to say? Is that as good as Fox News can do with regard to fair, balanced, objective journalism? I think you get my point. Fred Barnes is not a bad person, he just doesn't have the inalienable right to force his opinion on a nation of sheeple. There are thousands of people who heard that and thought, "Wow, Hillary must really have a terrible personality." I'm glad Oprah didn't say it, or she would have been sued. But that's another rant...
As Bernie Mac says, "Wake Up, America!" Stop adopting someone else's opinions and form some of your own.
