Is GOD for sale?

Congress is investigating certain not-for-profit organizations thinly disguised as evangelical Christian ministries. The "name it and claim it" preaching of these pastors is very intoxicating, much like the attention of an abusive partner. Pastors such as Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Paul and Jan Crouch, and Fred Price are living the life of luxury while their believers are sending in their last coins and living in poverty. They are powerful, greedy and are becoming quite effective in leading their sheeple astray.

Reality check:

  • God is NOT for sale.
  • The believer does not use God; God is free to use the believer.
  • Yes, God wants us to prosper. But do you think that maybe He means in HEAVEN? We are to be IN the world, but not OF the world.
Want proof? Where do you go to get answers: The WORD of GOD.

  • 1 Timothy 6:5 "...constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain."
  • Ephesians 5:5 "For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
  • Hebrews 13:5 "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Does that mean that God wants us to live in squalor? Of course not. However, I believe God is more concerned with the state of our spiritual health than the health of our bankbook. He called us to be humble. What does God consider to be riches? Look for yourself: Ephesians 1:7, Romans 11:33, Eph 1:18...those are just a few.

Jesus told his disciples in Luke 9:3 "“Take nothing for your journey,” he instructed them. “Don’t take a walking stick, a traveler’s bag, food, money, or even a change of clothes."

I'd like to see the suitcase of one of the above "preachers" on their next trip. Don't fall for the message of these charlatans! They are willing to rob you blind in order to pad their own fatness, all while hiding behind the veil of the temple.

Well, rest assured, Preachers: the veil will be rended in due time.

Postscript: I tried and tried to find the homes of some of these "preachers" on the internet, with NO luck at all. Do you know why? Because they don't want their sheeple to see how they are living...on YOUR money.
