Fa la la la la!

I started my Christmas shopping today. Jim and I took the boys to "the city" and put a pretty good dent in the list. And we didn't even have a list when we started! But now we do, and 1/2 of it is crossed slap-dab off.

So, Jim and I plan to get a sitter once the shopping is over, and go to the mall together just to enjoy the sites, smells, and sounds of the season. It will be delicious!!

Now my angst is over trying to come up with a wrapping theme this year. I don't like to just go the way of everyone else. I don't want to use big prints of Santa all over red and green paper. Here is what I am thinking:

Icy blue/lavendar/silver
Blue/brown/white
Leaf green/barn red
Lime green/aqua

So, you can see my quandry. Last year I wanted to use teal paper, but could not find solid teal paper anywhere. Plus, my husband told me that holiday was red and green. So, I acquiesced and used some run of the mill boring Christmas paper. This year will be different!! How about this "suicide snowman" wrap??
