Why does a family of three need a five bedroom home?

The size of the American home has doubled in the last 50 years, and the size of the family has dropped by as much. What is the matter with people?

You know what it is? They need the room for all of their stuff. 10 year old kids have cell phones. Families on welfare buy their kids a Wii. Indulgence is the name of the game. The more gas prices increase, the more Chevy Tahoes I see on the road. Why on earth are people still buying vehicles that get 15 miles to the gallon? What is wrong with America?

The instance of gastric bypass and lapband surgery is soaring. Why? Because Americans would rather gorge themselves and stay in their easy chairs, paying a doctor to make them lose weight. Heaven forbid they would get off their lazy, fat butt and get some exercise. Or don't even think about exercising SELF CONTROL and not eating that 5th piece of pizza. Our greed is going to kill us and cripple our nation.
