I ran across these photos and was thinking about these grossly long fake nails. I am not a fan of fake nails any way, but these are just ewwww. Remember when this was a trend? To have them as long as possible, and many times they were painted to reflect a theme of some sort. I never understood that. Instead, I wondered about the practical issues: How do you put on pantyhose or wipe your butt? Double ewwww.It has been a long, long time since I saw anyone with nails like this, and I am so glad. That is one trend that needed to go out, if only for hygiene purposes.
